Bank Reconcile

Easy Books bank reconcile function makes quick work out of Monthly Bank reconcillation. It utilizes “assumptive reconcile” which assumes that all transactions within the period had cleared the bank, and marks them as such with a check mark.

Indeed this is rarely the case, but all you must do is use the bank statement to find those transactions which have not yet cleared the bank and uncheck them. If this does not result in a zero reconciliation value then there may be other adjustments called for, such as bank fees. These can be easily posted in the adjustments grid at the top right of the form. It not only tells you which accounts to use but lets you know if your entries should be positive or negative.
